Have needed to shoot in the dark, where the light is too weak to autofocus works. With my Canon 580 EX II and ditto 430 EX II should it would not be a problem, but I can not get them to give an autofocus assist light, set C.Fn-8 to active (O), but equally well it helps.
Images are adequately illuminated, but completely out of focus.
Never had this capability before, maybe it’s a stupid question
