I had the toughest night I’ve experienced so far in imaging and am asking for advice from the forum.
My travel schedule has not allowed imaging for 3 weeks and tried last night to get some of summers last Oph and Sag objects like M8 in spite of the full moon and horizon position. M8 is very low on my horizon and the results were unexpected.
Went to the OIII filter to counteract the moon, but since M8 is only a few degrees on the horizon the results were very difficult indeed.
